Hi all

I have recently started to cook for myself smile
Having just moved into my new home I need everything for the kitchen, that is where the charity shops come in handy.
I cannot pass a charity shop without going in to look at what cooking things I may find.
I do my groceries shop online but not knowing the weights of things I either buy too much of something or not enough

hi suffolkcook!

Welcome to CU!

How do you find it doing your groceries shopping online? I have done it only a few times and find it quite comfortable. No queue, no running around. However, I also still shop in the actual shop, trying to avoid peak times though.

But apart from the shopping I hope that you will find some useful recipes here that shall help you to get started with all your new kitchen equipment just waiting there to be used! Let's cook baby!

I find online shopping quite easy after having done it a few times.
I have no car at the moment and it only costs me £3 for the delivery, If I were to get the bus that would be £3.60.
I still shop every other day at my local store on the way home from work as I prefer to see my fruit and veg before I buy it.

I intend to make a cheesecake this weekend :)
