Hello everyone, I have been cooking ever since I was a little girl but I got more into cooking in high school. I have done a lot of self teaching in the kitchen, and I'm always interested in learning more! I'm getting ready to start school for Culinary and hopefully will own my own restaurant one day! I am very open about trying new things and cant wait to get to know some new recipes and ways of cooking! Hope all has a good day!

Hi Lindalou,

wow, this sounds really exciting! I know somebody who is currently enrolled in a course to become a chef. In fact it is his second career choice after having worked in a hotel for quite some time. So I guess there are always people of all ages and interests coming together in such courses.

Do you have a specialty developed already? Such as meat or pasta, salads or desserts.....? I am one for the sweet things so maybe you have some tricks or even some delicious recipes to share with everyone here?

Hello Bee,

I really specialize in Chicken dishes and desserts. I have had to become very creative with my chicken dishes as my body don't tolerate red meats very well anymore within this past 2 1/2 years! One of my special dishes that I make is Chicken-Ettie is what we (me and my daughter) decided to call it after about the 4th or 5th time of us making it, it was a dish that I had come up with and was a hit with my kids! It's very simple to make...

You will need:

1 lb. of boneless/skinless chicken
2 cans of cream of chicken
1 can of cream of mushroom
1 pkg. of spaghetti noodles
1 8 oz. Velveeta Mexican style (cut into cubes save some aside for the top of your dish)

You boil your chicken and noodles in 2 separate pots after they are both done you then mix the cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, and Velveeta in with the noodles and cut you'r chicken into bit size pieces and mix that in you mixture. Put all of it into a baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for about a hour and the last 10 mins. top with the remainder of cheese and let it melt into the dish! where is...
It's very very delicious!! Not very healthy but it don't have to always be healthy right! LOL laughing out loud
