Which Mixer should I get??

Hi,

I wonder if any of you could please help?

My boyfriend has said he would buy me a Kitchenaid Artisan mixer for Christmas, now that I am doing a lot more baking and cooking, but after reading some reviews I am a little unsure as to whether or not they are the best choice. I have also been looking at the Kenwood Chef mixer

Could I get your thoughts on which would be best, in your opinion.

Hi, I have a Kitchenaid and I love it. Making cakes, meringues, bread, sausages (mincing attachment), etc has become so much easier, quicker and with fab results. In hindsight when we were given a Kitchenaid was when I became a fanatical baker! I'm afraid I've not used the kenwood mixer but I can vouch for the Kitchenaid being great.
