Hi
I have just join this forum because I need help with a Tirimasu which I have just made. I have put the cream cheese, Tia Maria and castor sugar into a bowl and mixed, I then added cream slowly and lft it to mix at slow speed. To me it looks a bit runny as before when I made it it seemed thicker. So I want some to tell me what I DONT have enough in mix..........is it not enough cream chees??? or cream????? or castor sugar???????? Any suggestions????????????????? Zita |

Hi Zita!
Welcome to CooksUnited. Why don't you type or copy the recipe in here? Then we could have a look and perhaps find out, what the problem is. It could be the quantity of the ingredients. Kind regards, Angelika |

Hi Zita,
It's me once more. Have a look at these TIRAMISU recipes from this site (just click on the red letters). Maybe one or the other can give you a clue as to what went wrong. Angelika |

Hi all
Thank you for replying so quickly to my problem. I actually solved it myself I think I underestimated the amount of cream cheese I added so I added some more and the consistency became a lot better and I knew it was right. I have made this so many times that I sensed that it was not right and possibly panicked. It could be due to the multiple alcoholic parties I have been to over Christmas that my brain was a bit muddled. My Tirimasu recepie was given to me by my daughter who had her own Dessert Company and made 2000 desserts for Bill Clinton when he visited Dublin about 10 years ago and had a dinner in Aras an Uactharain. If you would like to share my recepie I would only be delighted to put it up on this site. Please let me know. Zita |

Hi Angelika
Thank you for all your help and I just submitted my Recepie on to this site. I wanted to attach a photo but cannot find a way to attach it. I am now going to contact the site and email them the photo and hopefully they will add it on to the recepie when they put it up on the site. When they add it to site please try it out and let me know what you think. Cheers Zita |

HI Zita,
no problem about adding a photo to your recipe. Just wait until your recipe has been a"published", then you open it up, and to the right where the foto is going to be you click on upload images, wereupon you can choose the photo you wish to use. Here an example with one of my recipes. In all probability you'll be advised by e-mail once the recipe has been uploaded anyway, and then you can upload your photo straight away. Love, Angelika |

Good morning Zita
As I had nothing better to do this morning I had a look at the New Recipes and foud out that your Luxury Tiramisu has already been released. Now you can upload your photos straight away. Anyway, it sounds very yummy and naughty, but you must tell me what Boudoir biscuits are. I don't know them. Are they chocolatey? I wish you a nice day, Angelika P.S.: Don't take notice of Androcles' comments |

Boudoir biscuits are a form of firm sponge fingers often used for trifles. They are usually bought in a packet, although you can make them.
They are very good with Sherry, Angelika, A. |

Good Morning Angelika
Dont worry I am not paying any attention to that person who cant stop mentioning drink?????? Yes they are a firm sponge finger not chocolate which I buy in my local shop in Dublin. The name on them is Emma Jeans Sponge Fingers. Thay are made in Ireland but I am sure other companies make them. I have just attached a photo of the last one I made for you to see. Talk soon Zita |
