Hi everyone, there's been something bothering me for quite a while. I am trying to understand that why people want to be an anorexic. One of my friends was pissed off friends calling her fatty and therefore she stopped eating and got eating disorder (Anorexia). She lost 70lbs and was just only a walking Skeleton. After hearing her disorder, I suggested her to go to the doctor. Also, recommended her to read Monika Ostroff's book on Anorexia (Monika Ostroff's personal story).
Recently, I have read a report in Huffington post about Anorexia Sufferer, Valeria Levitin, 'The World's Thinnest Woman.' It is really not a fun at all whereas some people are brainless for ever trying that! It's a very sad illness in which a person becomes skinny and still feels overweight and obsessed with losing weight. Well, if you know anyone has anorexia, get help without delay because it is really a dangerous disease in which a person starves himself or herself to death. |

Hey Natascha,
yes this really is a problem! A classmate of mine was suffering from it as well. I dont think that people want to be anorexic. They want to be as thin as the people from the commercials and the movies. I really favour celebrities like Adele and Beth Dito who show us that the big girls can also be beautiful women! |
