@ Che

I understand what you meant by "there are only 5 vegetarian recipes". Using the tags given on the right you get all 139 recipes. Could be a bug which needs to be looked into of course.

Alexia

P.S. Love your Christmas Cube on your profile. Very cool!

This is my most favorite soup of all time! It just has the right combo of taste to die for! It is a family recipe. It is very easy to make and great with french bread. I eat the whole pot in two days! LOL

POTATO CHEESE SOUP

3 Tbsp butter
2 c. onion chopped
1 clove garlic - chopped
Sauté until transparent.

Add 2 large potatoes - chopped
1 large carrot - chopped
Sauté about 10 min.

Add 3 cup vegetable stock or water
1 tsp. dill (fresh would be better)
Simmer until veggies are tender.

Put through food processor (or one of those hand blenders) with 4 oz. Cream cheese, 1 1/2 cup milk. Return to pot and heat gently. Add 1 cup grated cheddar cheese. Stir and serve.

My mom and I was a vegetarian. My mom just usually make a vegetable salad for both of us, and she sometimes added some chili on it to make it more spicy. She also had lots of vegetable recipes before but I can't seem to understand what kind of recipe was that - the only thing I know was that it is very tasty. From there on, I grew up being a vegetarian.

Anyways, Hi there Steadam2011. It seems that your recipe is quite good. I am going to make that later after I am done with my online work. Thanks for sharing it.

Hmm. I usually slice two tomatoes then add some salt and anchovy sauce on it... It is like a tomato salad. Simple recipe but looks yummy. :)

I always prepare an easy pasta salad when our vegetarian come over for bbq on hot summer days.
It's really easy to make and quite similar to the one I found here on cooksunited. Instead of parmesan cheese I usually take mozzarella and I mix the pesto with 2 spoons of basilic vinegar.
Everyone loves it!

Avery,

it would be nice if you would not put the same comments in every old thread you go through which doesn't have to do any¨thing with whatever you want to say.

Thank you.

Quite agree, Angelika, what a bore!

Looking at Avery's profile, he/she/it has not filled in any of the useful details there so is probably a forum troll. We will watch out for the inevitable adverts and links to health food sites which will surely follow these trailers. And then zap them.
