What are the best sources of proteins?

If a protein - Link has been deleted by CU Admin - in a food provides us with the essential amino acids, it is called a complete protein. If it does not supply all the essential amino acids, it is called an incomplete protein.

All meat and other animal products are sources of complete proteins. These products include beef, lamb, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, eggs (the best source of complete proteins), milk, and milk products.

Protein in foods such as grains, fruits, and vegetables are considered incomplete proteins. Plant proteins can be combined to include all of the essential amino acids and form a complete protein. Examples of such combinations are rice and beans, and corn and beans.

Hello D Morgan,

may I ask why you repeat the same information twice?

Anyway, this is a cooking site and although talking about a healthy and balanced diet as well as exchanging advice and recipes is important here, it is not usual to use CU as an advertising site.

Kind regards,
Angelika

You yourself have included all the foods rich in proteins. Nothing more is left to share though. But still i must say that even dried fruits are a great source of proteins. Many trainers suggest this fruit for building a good muscles. But eggs and milk are considered a healthy as well as rich source of proteins.

Well proteins can be get by eating egg, various meats, fish, dairy, poultry. These foods, are the rich in terms to proteins. When ever i start weight training and need proteins, for developing powerful muscle my instructor said that use these things 4 time in a week. I also use fresh fruits and boiled, vegetables for vitamins and minerals.
