I hope you might be fine here . Most people who get body building are much worried about what foods they have to take to have the better advantage along with workout at gym . So i personally feel that foods which are high in protein are the best choice of foods for them . So they need to add eggs, red meat, fish in their diet .

Hello D Morgan,
you already mentioned the above in another already existing thread. Did you want a discussion or advice on what is the best for bodybuilders? It is not quite clear to me. But maybe one of the other users know a bit more about the subject? Have a nice day. Kind regards, Angelika |

Yeah, i agree with you on this. These foods are great source of energy in terms of building a perfect body. Also i would like to suggest milk, dried fruits as well as bananas are very helpful in adding some muscles to your body. If this is not enough then, going for protein shakes can be a good idea.

Yaah... that's right! Proteins are important for good health. But getting the right amount of protein is important. I have read in Sports Nutrition book that high protein diets are sometimes provide more harm than good. According to the book- .8 grams of protein is enough if you are a body builder and .4 if you are a sedentary adult. Also, other things like carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and good amount of sleep are equally important for the maintenance of optimal health.

Hey D Morgen,
I am trying a low-carb diet at the moment. I read a lot about this topic and I think, food which is high in protein is also good for loosing some weigth. My favourite recipes for this diet are omlette, salad and fish recipes. If anyone out there has some alternative low-carb & high in protein recipes, please let me know! I also prefer recipes which are easy to prepare. |

Its a very good discussion and very informative. I am also a bodybuilder so according to me a bodybuilder needs protein, fiber and some high calories food so bodybuilder should eat high calories and protein. Egg,cheese, fish, potato and meat all are good to eat for a bodybuilder. Anyway all posts are superb.

Hi revend, there you are again, making all sorts of remarks in old threads. In another old thread "What are you doing to stay fit" I welcomed you to CU in the following way (I'll copy it in): " Hello revend, welcome to CU. Won't you tell us a bit more about your cooking and/or baking experiences and preferences, or share your recipes with us so we can get to know you a bite more??? Unfortunately you've landed in an old thread this time. " But you didn't even reply to this. Also in your profile you don't give any information about your interests or food likes or dislikes. Are you sure you are on the right site??? Regards, Angelika |
