Hi Juicer,
Welcome to CU! I suppose it depends on how much flavour there is left in the pulp. If you have taken it all out and there is not much then compost is the best use - that is what we do after we have extracted juice for Fruit cordials. You could try adding some sugar and fermenting it, maybe with a bit of extra fruit for flavour and making some wine. Apart from that, not many thoughts! A. |

Thanks Androcles! I havent actually tasted the pulp yet so dont know if its really tasteless.. Maybe that wine thing could work actually, its a quite interesting mix of cabbage, apples, oranges, garlic etc so could make an interesting wine :D
But thanks ill keep looking! |

Hi Juicer,
I must admit my mind was going along the track of fruit juice rather than vegetable juice - I am not sure whether vegetable pulp wine would be any good, especially with garlic in it. Perhaps you could mix it in with mashed potato and fry it into fritters, to increase the fibre in the spuds. The apple and cabbage you could mix with red or white cabbage to make a sort of choucroute with bacon, pork or sausage. Just a few thoughts..... A. |
