You can always use a short cake recipe, but it has to be blind baked otherwise it will get soggy. (I have this pastry recipe. you could use)

You can always use a sponge cake as a base, or you can use a cranachan type base, by mixing oats and brown sugar and toasting under the grill..... Or use a nut brittle.

Gosh!

a pint of salt? That cake must be very tasty indeed. How many pints of ale do I have to drink to quench my thirst?

You should stop using online translators, they are no good. Try to translate it yourself, even if you do make mistakes, I am sure it will be so much better than this rubbish from the online machine.

Josef,

I am sorry to say this, because you are trying to communicate in a foreign language and we must congratulate
that, but wherever you are getting your translations from they are picking some words which are totally wrong. The result is that you are causing many laughs in our house. laughing out loudlaughing out loud

For example in another post, you described your sister as an "analgesic" which is a pain killer - I think you meant Anorexic, then there was the fanny test.....(run that back in the translator!!) - we could go on. Many of your sentences leave us scratching our heads as to what you may mean.

I suggest you listen to Kiezkicker!

Best wishes

A.

Anorexic and the pint should be a pinch.

Josef does not use an online translator, he is Australian or at least has been living in Australia for a long time. His background is German, that's why his spelling is phonetic. Being of German background myself I mostly understand what he is trying to say.

@ Josef

Hi,
why don´t you enter your recipe "cheesecake" into the data base here and then refer to it in forums. Then you help not just CTAC with his question but also many more users looking for a cake like yours.

regards Kiezkicker

Why should I write it in there, if no body can read it anyway, like it was told.
