Well, no Lenten Menu here...... proper St Valentines day stuff, bottle of fizz, smoked salmon, paella and a nice pud, but don't know what yet, something with lemons, I think.

Good morning to all (food) lovers on this hopefully wonderful day
  My vote: If you feel so inclined then make the most of this day, forget about the diet and enjoy yourself with your loved one. I won't be doing any cooking today, because my Spanish old man is taking me out for lunch It will be doubly important because a) he will have his second knee operation on Monday and b) I'll have to go to Germany for quite a long time within the next couple of weeks. So my old life as it was will be disrupted and I don't know when and if everything will be back to normal.
