Today we have guests for lunch and we will have venison ragout, potatoes and oven baked cauliflower , lamb's lettuce and this apple cake for dessert.

Just popping over to the Butcher in the village to see what looks good for this weekend. Will report back later!

For the Pudding Club on Thursday, I did Jamaican Sweet Potato Pone and the recipe is now up on site. The verdict was that it was rather like a light Christmas Pudding!

Hi Kiezkicker,

Thanks for asking! We have still to try the kangaroo. for a variety of reasons it go moved to the freezer and will be tested later!
