Hello everybody,

today we will have the leftover boiled beef as we once ate in Beirut. Don't know the name of the dish, but we liiked it very much. It's with "Mloukhiyeh", what we cannot get here, but its very similar to spinach, so we use spinach.

On a heap of rice on the plates comes some boiled beef, covered with spinach and chopped onions on top, which were marinated in salt and vinegar.

Hi everybody

I'm feeling better today and ventured out to the jobs. I managed to get some fresh tender carrots which I will cook whole though I don't know how yet. Perhaps I'll caramelise them. To go with the carrots I'll make some tasty German meat balls and mashed potatoes.

I'll also bake some simple cake with some chocolate and fruit in it

Diet day 2 today but with a problem! it is also Pudding Club day.

So will have 600 cals meals, Porridge with apple for breakfast, Lentil Soup for lunch , and make a Jamaican Sweet Potato Pone for the club tonight and only have very little tasters! I know it is cheating, but there are always my two days next week!

God, I'm such a fool

I just looked at my comment from earlier; what I really wanted to say, was that I ventured out to the shops today

Androcles, you'll probably think I was under the influence already

As to the cake I made, it is a marble cake with chocolate bits in it and it has got a heart shape! I am going to decorate it now with some icing and chocolate decoration.

The cake, did it have lots of Sherry in it?
