Hello everbody

What will you cook today?

Here it is cold and gray and we need something warming. I decided for braised beef with mustard carrots (recipe to come) and boiled potatoes.

Regards
Heidi

After checking some other beef recipes here I switched to Kiezkickers beef with balsamic vinegar pot roast . Sounds delicious and I'm sure it works fine with the chuck blade too.

Yorkshire is full of snow - so something warm. Probably a vegetable curry. But first I am going to bake some bread (recipe to come - just need to find out how much water I am using)....and maybe a cake?

I cooked a salmon and spinach roll yesterday evening. It has to cool in the fridge for 6-8 hours. I was really excited to eat some of the slices for lunch today where is...

I served it with other leftovers and some salad. Have a nice weekend!

Gammon gone into the pressure cooker with carrot, celery, onion, garlic, leek, bayleaves and peppercorns. To be eaten with boiled potatoes, carrots, sprouts, butter beans and probably a white sauce. The stoc will be saved for pea soup next week.

For afters, some of the Banana, walnut and date loaf I made yesterday with some yoghurt.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend....

Regards,

A.

Good evening,

this evening there will be breaded belly pork slices and a fried egg + potatoes of some sort. So no culinary highlight today. But I love this sort of food sometoimes. For afters we'll have baked bananas from the oven with ice cream where is...

At lunch I just had a soft roll with ham, lettuce and gherkins. Very nice.

Have a nice evening.
