Hello everybody,
no plans up to now? Today I could get minced lamb - so it will be a shepherd's pie today. Looking forward to it! Kind regards Heidi |

Heidi, I can only recommend the Shepherd's Pie. As you know I made it just the other day ! Such comfort on a cold day.
By the way, the price for lamb fillet is about the same here in Spain, 19 - 20 /kg. For lunch any minute now, there's bread toasted in the grill pan with garlic and olive oil, different types of Spanisch sausages and ham, as well as a black pudding carpaccio, olives, gherkins and pickled onions. A small cheese board finishes everythign off. This evening I'll probably have a salmon fillet with a jacket potatoe. Regards, Angelika |

My wonderful husband (the real chef in the kitchen!) cooked real easy winterfood today.
1 tomato, 1 yellow paprika, 1 courgette, 2 potatoes. Added a bit of water, some stock or some speck to give it more taste. I may add we hardly ever add any salt to our dishes. So simple, so yummy, so warming. Alexia P.S. I am so used to the whole facebook thing that I sometimes look for the "like" button here below someone elses post. That would be such a nice idea I reckon. As in thumbs up to what you are cooking! |

Very simple for lunch today, as we spent the morning down at the Green Gym in our local park - very cold with lost of snow and ice to be cleared off the equipment. It was Jacket potato, stuffed with cheese and smoked ham, with salad, with fruit for afters. Tonight - I shall wait to see what the spirit moves.......
Best wishes, A. |
