hi i have been trying to find the recipe for a dish i had, cooked by an old room mates boyfriend about 12 years ago, he said it was a family recipe that his gran had taugh his mum and so on, it was absolutely gorgeous and i have tried to recreate it again with no success and my husband is sick of the tries! here is the basics to the recipe see if anyone call give it a name! and tell me what im missing?
mince beef
brown sugar
sherry
and other basics, it was a dry mixture/ no sauce to it and was served with rice! sounds boring but really wasnt! be great to hear thoughts?

Hi Nainais,

Are you sure that the recipe did not contain sherry vinegar rather than sherry. You could try this recipe from the CU database, otherwise, google the ingredientsQ!

sounds interesting thanks! sure it was fully alcoholic, and not vinegar :(
